yea wet sand with 1500 and buff....now step by step buffing : turn buffer on 2.5 speed set the pad on the surface being buffed pull the trigger move it around untill all compund is rubbed in good and you start getting your shine back then change to a polishing pad and then repeat same process except with polishing compound then when thats finished get some hand glaze (i prefer 3m it works really well) then hand polish till all swirls are gone hope this helps and im an ase certified painter and bodyman so i know what im doing lol you can trust my advice
